Civil Affairs team leader, responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting Civil Affairs activities in support of Civil-Military Operations training; to include weapons, ammo, billets, rations, supplies, communication equipment, and all other essential mission required equipment. Ensured all team members were properly equipped and trained to accomplished any assigned mission. Military Team Leader for a four person joint District Support Team operating in the Behsood District of the Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for coordinating of all District Support Team efforts between Task Force Raider, the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) Nangarhar, local Afghan official and the local populace. Conducted assessments, recommend and monitor projects, assist, empower, and help legitimize local officials to facilitate the successful transition of the Behsood district back to the GIRoA. Assist, advise, and support both the PRT and the Battle Space Owner in all Civil Military Operations.
