National sales consultant for The Language Company promoting educational language and literacy exercise, reading, text books and methodologies to High and Primary Schools within the private and public sector in South Africa and SADAC. The Language Company’s educational material addresses both layers of education: scholar learning and teacher educational training. I successfully built up and maintained a client base of 320 schools nationally and 30 schools within SADAC. I organized a number of events to promote our umbrella approach to education as an improved alternative to the department of education’s prescribed text books and teaching methods resulting in the adoption of The Language Company’s methodology nationally as well as deployment within a number of SADAC countries such as Madagascar, Mauritius, Namibia and Botswana.I converted private schools such as Crawford College, St John’s, St Mary’s, Michaelhouse, St.Stithians, Roedean and Brescia House to standardize on The Language Company’s educational program and literature.

As an IT Technician I learnt how to problem solve. Time management was one of the biggest factors when it came to juggling between servers, the call center and the company end users. Communication also became an intricate part of my job as I had to report to each user what the problem is and how I was going to solve it, more importantly how long it was going to take to complete.
