- Work closely with the Program Manager of the Communities Empowering Youth (CEY) Program on three-year grant project to build the capacity of non-profit agencies, providing technical assistance and monthly training sessions.- Conduct desk reviews and on-site visits to partner agencies to monitor grant compliance according to Federal guidelines and CEY policies and procedures.- Collect, review, and audit agency documentation pertaining to programming and finances, in addition to documenting, analyzing, and reporting on review findings.- Create and implement forms and tools for conducting effective and efficient technical assistance for partner agencies, including training internal and external agency staff.- Research, advocate, and report on children and youth issues in the Greater Dallas area to affect organizational and educational policies to improve the health and well-being of children and families.- Recruit, coordinate, and plan for the Dallas Commission on Children and Youth, including program evaluation, grant writing, fund development, and research to determine future efforts.- Map community assets for database development of resources in the southeast sector of Dallas, including research and production of the 2010 Community Asset Mapping Report and Community Needs Assessment Report for zip codes 75216 & 75217.- Compile and review performance outcome measurements, annual Federal reports and special reports.- Serve as Team Leader for 2009 United Way Fundraising Campaign, awarded 2009 United Way Pacesetter Award.
