During my time at Coldwater Creek I met a lot of hard-working women who I am still in contact with today. Travel AgentProfessional Travel, A Direct Travel Company 1990 - 2004North Olmsted, Ohio, United StatesIn this role, I assisted clients in planning their dream vacations by providing expert advice on destinations, booking flights, accommodations, and transportation, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. I utilized my excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for exploring the latest travel trends, to provide the ultimate customer experience. During my time at Professional Travel, I was responsible for creating the vacation department for an agency that had previously only specialized in corporate travel. We quickly added an additional agent and the both of us shared the vacation desk. Our experience provided many destinations, and included many honeymoons, in all price ranges. At the time of this position, reservations were booked free of charge to our customers, so this position required great customer service, loyalty to our customers as well as an understanding of our clients wants and needs. After the birth of my daughter I was able to continue this position remotely from my home. I switched over to a commission based salary in order to continue to strive for more clients and business for the company. This incentive kept me active in all aspects of travel. -
