I'm a dedicated paediatric dental practitioner & myofunctional therapist here in Australia. As a dental board certified Dental Therapist (oral health therapist) with a background in health science & over a decade of clinical experience, I help children and parents see beyond teeth. My mission is to be a voice & continue to share the important message about ways to help develop functional faces and the simple yet overlooked importance of cultivating or restoring our innate oral functions to enjoy optimal total body health.I'm motivated by all transformations I've seen in the Little & big patients & by all passionate functional health professionals that have crossed my path.I hope this knowledge becomes part of our dental and medical curriculum, a topic in prenatal classes & a common theme amongst mothers group.I hope that every mother encounters a functional practitioner and realise that there are other ways to go about and that innate oral functions like nose breathing, lip seal, tongue function, proper arch development and integrity of our teeth (baby teeth too!) are so important to our children overall health.
