Ingrid is an award-winning journalist, and formerly covered business and agriculture for the Tri-City Herald in Kennewick, Wash. She received a regional award for a story about HIV-AIDS in the state’s capital Olympia during her time as an intern at The Olympian. Ingrid also freelanced for a specialty wine publication in the Pacific Northwest.In the early morning hours, Ingrid often runs the streets of her home city, sometimes training for races, sometimes soaking up the peace of a fresh day. She is famous for her chocolate chip cookies, obsession with peanut butter and willingness to lend a hand to friends and colleagues.
