Instructing them on train management, performing platform duties and most importantly adhering to signalling and safeworking. Reporting faults, daily issues encountered, prepare the trainee for the day they qualify. Both a rewarding and challenging job that has allowed my skills and knowledge to improve as I instruct others.February 2019 – August 2019Training OfficerCompleted Cert IV in Training and AssessmentDelivering formal training to trainees at the Metro Training Academy. Delivery within classroom work and infield instruction. Assessment of trainees through competency based training within classroom examinations and driving assessments. Once trainees are assessed, it was our responsibility to ensure all results were correctly input into our electronic tracking system and hard copies were scanned and added to individuals files. If trainees were deemed NYC, additional training was provided.
