I work across dance, art and psychosomatic practices. As an artist, I have experience both on stage and on screen, freelancing as a dance artist for choreographers, engaging in collaborations and developing my own projects (performative, installations, texts). I hold a University Diploma (University Pessoa, Portugal) in a psycho-somatic approach titled Perceptual Education. I support individuals and groups using sensorial tools (meditation, movement, fascia therapy treatments, dialogue and artistic practices). I offer therapeutic sessions at Hesperia Therapy Practices in Helsinki/Töölö.https://vello.fi/ingridandreI use my skills in a therapeutic approach to manage change, stress, loss of direction, and engagement, and help persons build deeper and more meaningful relationships with themselves and others, expanding their perception of the world and the situations they encounter in life, I lean on the field of Perceptual Pedagogy and the so-called Sensible paradigm (an intimate relationship to self through a body-felt experience initiated by French researcher Danis Bois).I also see the practice as a pathway to reflect on our societies and its issues and add a psycho-somatic tool to tackle diversity, empathy, and deeply anchored representations and allow new possible views between self and world.
