BIOBorn in Jamaica and raised in Barbados Ingrid “IngridB” Bazin has been atour de force on the South Florida poetry scene since 2001, turning afavor for a friend into a livelihood that has garnered her areputation as the ultimate “Soulcialite” promoter amongst poets,singers, and musicians. With the creation of On The B Side Entertainment,Bazin took her passion for Poetry and built a scene withinthe established scene which later came to include soul music. The decision to infuse Poetry andSoul Music was an easy one for Bazin, as the audience showedappreciation for the music and it became obvious that the two wereinterchangeable. Possessing the perfect blend of West Indian SensibilitySouthern Hospitality and Northern Flair Ingrid B develops a soulconnection with her audiences whom she has come to call “TheSoulcialites” an assembly that includes varied cultural backgroundsof like-minded individuals who share of love of Soul Music, Poetry,and Positive Hip Hop and enjoy the BSide of Life that Bazin hascreated. Nationally recognized for her savvy Soulcial skills andintimate knowledge of the Spoken Word Poetry and Soul Music scenes.Ingrid B served as Poet Producer for 2 seasons of LYRIC CAFE seen onBETJ and CentricTV, she has booked talent for various events in South Florida for universities, corporations, and private functions.
