• To manage & assign Crew to various locations, liaising with regional office on all crew matters and maintain close relationship with the internal and external clients to provide full crewing services, with specific responsibility for the vessels. • Monitoring of staff, seafarers performance & attendance.• To ensure fleet is manned with qualified and competent personnel at all times.• To produce accurate scheduling for crew/Manning agencies.• To liaise closely with Manning Agencies and designated Fleet Managers to ensure future manning requirements are planned and executed efficiently.• To monitor the sourcing and recruitment of seafarers.

Compliance with safe manning requirements, Ensure that the required manpower is available on vessels at all times to execute scope of work in a safe & efficient manner.• Effective Crew planning and execution.• Efficient interface with our Commercial, Marine Standards and Vessel Operation of the Principal.• Responsible for ensuring a progressive and proactive handling of promotions in cooperation with other departments.• Cooperate with Principals HR departments to ensure training and competence development of seafarers as applicable and in adherence to training matrices.• Negotiating of salaries, contracts working conditions, the issuing of contracts and applications for required flag states documentation of all new crew joining the fleet.• Assist both Managements with handling of disciplinary and performance related issues.• Involvement in Industrial Relations related to the Marine Industry• Provide strategic inputs for projected recruitment requirements, as well as managing recruitment initiatives.• Supervise and coordinate the record keeping of employees:1. Insurance coverage/Pension programs.2. Personnel transactions such as hires, training needs promotions, transfers and terminations.

Recruitment of local seafarers in complaint to STCW’95 and company regulations; organized travel to and from vessels and kept cost to minimum; deployment and scheduling of crew to vessels, Crew certificate review and documentation, payroll compilation; interface with flag state administrators.Ensure that the required manpower is available on vessels at all times to execute scope of work in a safe & efficient manner.
