I am the Founder and Executive Director of New Jersey Minority Educational Development (NJ MED), and have designed, managed, and coordinated the nation's first evidence-base at-risk minority male drop-out prevention model - the 100% Graduation Rate Program, from 1996 to 2006. That raised high school graduation rates by 49% (39 to 88%) and college enrollment by 41% (23 to 64%).I develop education collaboration, consortiums, and strategic partnerships with community support service agencies, businesses, and colleges to provide services to over 2,500 youths in the City of Camden, New Jersey. I've been labeled the "In-Kind King" with the ability to leverage capacity building networks for grants, proposals, and projects. I speak and host conferences, forums, and workshops on education topics on how to motivate youths; parent and school relationships; how to utilize community resources; education reform; teen pregnancy prevention; bullying; substance abuse; and worked with high school athletic teams to win 4 state championships in girls & boy's basketball, and football.
