First is the assessment; thereafter, the water mitigation or mold abatement. Thereafter, a written estimate for water or mold abatement needs to be sent to the carrier. Thereafter, the carrier writes their repair estimate. Thereafter, I take the time to review it. Thereafter, I write a supplement. Thereafter, I do a walk through with home or property owner and explain line by line as to why it was necessary to write a supplement. I also write and provide accurate repair estimate looking at the work objectively to avoid supplements 98% of the time. All estimates are written in Xactimate. I also coordinate subs for especial trades.
