Project SAFE is GPAI’s contribution to the global efforts towards artificial intelligence validation and governance of LLMs, advanced AI such as neural networks developed within industrial and innovation sectors, and frontier models that current leading AI companies declare that they are developing towards Artificial General Intelligence. The Technical and Data Governance Validation Cohort that I lead under the support of the Tokyo Expert Support Centre in Japan, comprises AI experts across the world and aims to present state of the art assessment of the current global AI Safety efforts in model validation, as well as new perspectives on how to address the data governance environments for training and testing models.

As chair of the Multi-stakeholder Experts Group (MEG) - a cohort of 100-150 AI experts across all disciplines, I facilitated the interactions between member governments and experts, creating parallel actions and activities beyond the projects accorded for each working group in Responsible AI, Data Governance, Innovation and Commercialisation of AI, and the Future of Work. I also co-chaired the GPAI Steering Committee together with the Government of Japan (2022-2023) and the Government of India (2023-2024). ****** At the 6th GPAI Ministerial Council Meeting held on July 3, 2024, in New Delhi, members voted to integrate GPAI within the @OECD.AI integrated partnership format, dismantling the GPAI chair position and expert membership of the Steering Committee.

Nominated by the government of Spain to serve as Expert within the GPAI Multistakeholder Expert Group, I was asked to join the I&C of AI WG to support the projects related to introducing AI into SMEs across all sectors.*** At the 6th GPAI Ministerial Council Meeting held on July 3, 2024, in New Delhi, members voted to integrate GPAI within the @OECD.AI integrated partnership format, reformatting the GPAI working group structures.

In this role I have worked with UK Trade & Investment offices in Spain, Croatia and Brazil to promote the UK's FDI (International Trade) efforts.Catalyst is a global network of business leaders set up by the British government, who champion the UK as the world’s best international business partner. It comprises influential business figures established in international markets, who are supporters of the UK as a place to do business. UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) originally launched the scheme in 2010 with an initial 50 high profile members of which I was invited to be part of. Visual Radio was a technology developed by Jutel Oy (later sold to NOKIA) to make it easier for audiences to interact with radio programs. Visual Radio had built-in functionality available as a native App in an increasing number of NOKIA phones launched during the 2000s period that were already equipped with analog FM radio. Kiss FM (Finland) (now defunct) was the first radio station that started using Visual Radio.Other stations supporting Visual Radio included the UK's GWR Bristol, GWR Bath, Virgin Radio (now Absolute Radio), The Voice in Helsinki, Mediacorp stations in Singapore, Radio Mirchi station in New Delhi India, and Los 40 Principales in Spain. RAI did test transmissions with Visual radio in some selected areas. In Belgium Radio Contact (as Radio Contact Vision) and Q-music support Visual Radio as a TV-station, others also transmit Visual Radio on the internet. Jutel Visual Radio became a pioneer of mobile multimedia streaming launching also in Asia and North America.
