My name is Inna. I’m a Calgary-based English-to-Ukrainian translator and interpreter. I have a Master's degree in International Relations and Translation Studies from my native country, Ukraine. I started as a freelance translator in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2016, translating the website “Wonderful Indonesia” for the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia. After arriving in Canada, I started another life-changing journey: becoming a Community Interpreter. I completed the Labour Market Bridging Program (LMB) for Community Interpreters from CIWA (Calgary Immigrant Women's Association) in September 2023. As a successful recipient of the Ron Ghitter Scholarship in October 2023, I pursue further my education in these fields. Currently, I’m an active Community interpreter in Calgary, applying my language-related skill-set to deliver professional, accurate information in a highly efficient manner.
