CurrentMy professional journey in Denmark began at FirstFarms, an international agricultural company listed on Nasdaq, where I initially worked as a project assistant, supporting executive management in executing various projects.Alongside my project responsibilities, I was involved in numerous sustainability-related initiatives. As the company expanded, sustainability evolved from being project-based to an area of strategic focus. This shift allowed me to transition into a role fully dedicated to sustainability, eventually becoming the Sustainability Manager with a 100% focus on the company’s sustainable transformation.Key responsibilities in my role included:• Developing and implementing sustainability initiatives.• Deep expertise in CSRD and Taxonomy regulations.• Creating a roadmap for CSRD implementation.• Conducting Double Materiality Assessments.• Collaborating with the finance department and subsidiaries to establish efficient non-financial data collection and reporting systems.• Annual ESG reporting in compliance with the Danish Financial Statement Act incl. content writing, and data collection.• Annual greenhouse gas emissions calculations.• Preparing communication and decision-making materials for executive management and the Board.• Creating and implementing sustainability-related policies (Environmental Policy, Human Rights Policy, Code of Conduct, Animal Welfare, Whistleblower Policy, etc.).• Coordinating projects within renewable energy development.• Leading internal change initiatives to integrate sustainability into decision-making processes and cultivate a sustainability-driven organisational culture.• Developing workshops and communication materials to educate staff on sustainability.• Monitoring emerging sustainability trends and evaluating their potential impact on the company.• Collaborating with customers on sustainability projects and initiatives.
