FROM TIMEOUT NY MAGAZINE:While working at high-end boutiques such as Dolce & Gabbana and Armani, owner Inna Plotkin found her closet quickly filling up with fantastic clothes that weren’t getting the attention that they deserved. After realizing that many of her friends had the same problem, she decided to open a designer consignment store where women could recycle their gently worn brand-name duds in a laid-back environment. Unlike stuffy consignment boutiques, this small shop, decorated in a girly purple-and-white color scheme, has a distinctly friendly vibe. The selection is comprised of mostly contemporary designer pieces in excellent condition, such as a Dolce & Gabbana wool dress ($200), a Marc by Marc Jacobs denim skirt ($60) and a pair of unworn Christian Louboutin patent-leather pumps ($350). There’s also a smattering of vintage accessories, including an antique Givenchy gold-and-Swarovski-crystal cuff bracelet ($275).
