I am the chaplain at a residential aged care facility in Melbourne. My primary duties include:- Spiritual care and psychosocial support for residents, family, and staff- Palliative and end of life care- Grief and bereavement support- ERM and spiritual care assessments- Chapel/Church Service- Multifaith rituals, celebrations, and activities- Story catchingI also work to support Mission through systems support, onboarding processes and procedures for new hires and placements, and the curation of resources for sites that do not have a spiritual care professional available. I have provided interim chaplaincy, mentored new chaplains, and supervised CPE placements.

- Philanthropic funding opportunities including foundations, major gifts and legacy giving- Oversight of fundraising aspects of new database (from Raiser's Edge to Salesforce) and website- End-to-end management of regular and special appeals- Lead for digital donor engagement events

Managed a period of strategic growth across three program areas to support children with incarcerated parents. I was responsible for building and supporting a team, stakeholder relationships, budgets and reporting, data analysis and volunteer management. I also provided service delivery- the best part of the role.
