Manages a $12M plus support contract providing budget, requirements identification, integration engineering, and program management structure to the Army’s largest network modernization effort to date; over 130 projects throughout the world. Leads a team of 45 technical and programmatic professionals providing support to a $450 million plus Army program to extend mission networks to Soldiers prior to deployment. Built the contract team while executing a fast paced effort to manage and integrate over 130 complex projects; responsible for structure, hiring, training and counseling of team. Builds customer relationships and integrates efforts across the program of 130 complex projects; development of statements of work, risk registers, statement of requirements, scope baselines and the creation of cost estimates and schedules. Led the effort to develop an acquisition life cycle processes for the program with a focus on requirements analysis and initial programmatic artifacts for all the programs; currently lead the team who analyzes an average of five new projects weekly using this process.

Developed business to align with the company’s growth plan while overseeing training programs. Planned and supervised the training of engineers and test personnel for successful Future Combat Systems testing; coordinated with several diverse agencies to accomplish the mission. Project manager/combat developer for a highly complex program to develop a common virtual training environment and for the Army’s Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT). Briefed Joint leadership on the capabilities and benefits of the Army’s proposed common virtual training environment resulting in full funding of the program prior to its approval. Led a 15 member team from a variety of organizations to identify and document requirements for the common virtual training environment resulting in Army and Joint program approval. Managed an $8 million project to move CCTT modules to Fort Bliss, Texas and oversaw the development of Training Support Packages used in this training facility. Member of the Live, Virtual, Constructive Integrated Architecture (LVC IA) concept team and was instrumental in writing the LVC IA Initial Capabilities Document. Hand picked to be a member of two contract proposal evaluation teams because of my extensive knowledge in virtual training, terrain database development and Army acquisition.

Supervised all areas of maintenance operations, training and projects for an organization with over 2,900 people and 950 vehicles; led 14 employees and managed a budget over $10 million. Planned, scheduled and managed a $45 million life extension program for the organization’s heavy vehicles; completed program within budget and schedule. Managed a project to paint identification numbers on all organization’s systems and vehicles totaling over 1200 pieces of equipment; finished on schedule and within budget

Supervised and managed all supply distribution and asset visibility within the Korean peninsula. Briefed senior executives resulting in decisions to reduce repair parts delivery by over 15%. Oversaw operations of an excess inventory warehouse that lowered parts deliveries by 25%. Led a company of 245 Soldiers with a mission to maintain a fleet of over 500 systems; managed personnel actions for an Army battalion with a workforce over 750 Soldiers divided among four companies; XO/Maintenance Officer for a company deployed to Operation Desert Storm. Effectively processed 197 performance reports, 43 promotion packets and 392 finance action. Established a training program for the unit resulting in lower maintenance backlogs.
