My role is complex but not uncommon. I leverage my experience of digitising legacy processes and my ability to keep up with the latest technical trends to simplify solutions. My journey at Tune Protect started in Demand Management. The role was heavily reliant on operational skill sets and expected technical expertise on dealing with change requests and project delivery methodologies. I introduced daily scrums into the delivery teams by coaching organisational members on agile. I put into place, approval process and digital capture methods to speed up the current back and forth processes to obtain sign offs. I managed approval process for all change requests on every core system and subsidiary support functions. I created a transparent feedback culture within the legacy support teams and I bridged the gap between business entities and group IT functions. I hosted and ran monthly compliance and regulatory steering committees with the current ExCom. I did the Opex and Capex budgeting for the Malaysian IT function. I spearheaded technical initiative to introduce new technologies/frameworks into the organisation such as NextJs, ReactJs and assisted with FlutterFlow builds. The above mentioned was a very people heavy, stakeholder emphasised role which was not a very hands on technical role. I did gain experience in organisational management dealings from a hands off approach and using this, I transitioned into a specialist role doing a combination of both development and organisational management.

I cofounded a healthcare startup during the covid pandemic where digital systems were desperately needed to navigate restrictions and reduce infections during mandatory lockdowns. We pivoted into the entire primary healthcare journey, won awards, fundraiser and pitched on international stages all while I built an amazing technical team and a strong product.
