Greetings and thank you for stopping by my profile! I'm a multifaceted Software Engineering Developer and aspiring assistive technology developer. As a Western Washington native, surrounded by globally recognized technology leaders such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, I have always had an interest in technology. Growing up in this time and area, I became a quick study for learning how to use technology. From learning basic marquees, background coding, and character codes to enhance my own Myspace profile as a young teen, to designing my own interactive tutorials to onboard realtors, creating form synchronicity and utilizing basic HTML to create image-embedded email signatures and web pages, I have always found a way to incorporate technology into each of my jobs. My passion for coding was ignited by the stimulating complexities and logic required to produce and optimize executable code.Inspired by my beautiful, clever, and wonderful son, I made a decision to pursue higher education to learn software development so that I could start a career dedicated to developing innovative software for people who have Autism, individuals who are non-verbal and their caretakers and families that support them. My ambition is to design and create assistive technology applications that are tailored to each individual's unique needs. I strive to develop personalized software using artificial intelligence and machine learning to eliminate and transcend beyond the communication barriers to give back to the Autism community that provided my son and I support when we needed it the most. I am currently designing an application to help with the daily challenges that families and individuals with Autism face, such as communication, sensory overload, executive functioning, and social-emotional needs. I am also developing a platform that will provide a community of support for those on the Autism spectrum and their families.I am committed to my journey and am excited to be a part of the movement to make a real difference in the lives of those who are on the Autism spectrum. I am passionate about using my knowledge and experience to create innovative technology and software solutions that can further assist and empower those who need it most.
