Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) - 2020InnoVita has developed the technology framework for a complete detection and elimination system for the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) virus and 10 other airborne pathogens which are a top priority for the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Power Grid Optimization - CO2 Reduction - 2007For this project we used our own AI modeling software to build predictive electrical load requirement (Load Forecast) models which were 50% more accurate than the current. With a 50% improvement to the “Load Forecast” the grid operators reduced the standby generation by 120 megawatts, or an approximate annual CO2 reduction of 4.24 x104 tons/year. Predictive Emission Monitoring (PEMS) - 2003In collaboration with International Paper, EPA, DOE, and InnoVita, we developed an EPA compliant Predictive Emissions Monitoring System (PEMS) for the following fuels; (a) oil, (b) gas, (c) wood, and (d) waste fuel. Chlorine dioxide (CLO2) Detection & Monitoring - 2000The InnoVita team using off-the-shelf parts, and AI in the hardware and software developed a new toxic gas monitoring system that; (a) could detect Chlorine dioxide below the EPA/OSHA mandates [<3 ppb], (b) differentiate between Chlorine and Chlorine dioxide, (c) was portable, and (d) rechargeable.Predictive Failure Machinery Technology - 1998The InnoVita team was awarded a $ 425,000 DOE grant for the development of a new predictive failure technology using AI for the pulp and paper industry. Landfill Reduction - Recyclable Carbon - 1996InnoVita provided a new type of carbon for air filtration which reduced the landfill usage by 78%, and air filtration costs by 81%. Lobster Holding Tank Mortality Reduction - 1993InnoVita donated the design and plans to the Maine Lobster Research Institute for a no cost commercialization of the technology. Most of the Maine lobster industry’s filtration systems today use the design InnoVita submitted to MLRI.
