I am an intern at the UNHCR MCO Italy in the CBP protection unit and a PhD student in Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna. I recently graduated with honors in Local and Global Development for International Cooperation and hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. I furthered my education with a specialized academic course in "Social and Legal Practices for the Reception and Integration of Migrants."My professional experience in the field of migration and international protection includes an internship as a legal dispute analyst for the Territorial Commission for the Recognition of International Protection in Bologna. In this role, I managed documents, facilitated interactions between the Commission and the Court, conducted research, and performed statistical analysis. Additionally, I worked as a cultural mediator for migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees at the International Protection Service in Bologna.I have developed significant public engagement through my role as a political activist for civil, social, and human rights. For years, I have been advocating through street initiatives, media campaigns, participation as a speaker at various local and national conferences, and appearances on several political TV debates. My commitment to human rights led to my recognition as one of the 20 finalists for the "2020 Woman of the Year" award by D-Donna, a publication affiliated with La Repubblica newspaper.I possess language skills in Italian, Arabic, English, French, and Spanish.
