As a clinical coordinator I play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of a healthcare facility and acting as a bridge between clinical and administrative teams ensuring efficient patient flow and communication.In my existing role, I am responsible for managing patients' appointments and schedules. I liaise with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals on complex administrative tasks. I coordinate patients' admission ,discharge and transfer alongside maintaining accurate patient records and data. Additionally I monitor and report kPIs to ensure quality standards are met within the Trust as well as overseeing administrative tasks within a clinical setting.Being an administrative lead, I am in charge for collecting and updating patient information on the relevant databases in line with local policy, to ensure efficient pathway progress. This includes maintaining the accuracy of data at all times. I enjoy Working with the team to analyze target breaches and report issues to management. I specialize in providing administrative support and solving patients queries and complaints.Through my hard work and perseverance, I became a lead administrator of the Pan-London Suspected Bladder Cancer Team by recording patients journey and arranging appointments according to their pathway status. I also record the outcomes of Bladder Cancer patients and update their portals helping consultants to review patients' past cancer treatment history. I believe as a Medical Administrator, my path is filled with plenty of opportunities, challenges and the chance to make a real difference in patients' lives. I aim to excel in this field and provide excellent quality service through my skills and knowledge.
