Reginald Johnson was born in Grand Rapids, MI and comes from a family of educators. During his first year in college, Regi had the opportunity to be a student teacher for 2 months at an inner city school in Atlanta GA. Although he loved being in front of the classroom and working with kids, the ideal of being with the same group of individuals for the duration of the year was not attractive to him. Reginald decided to change majors and enter the customer service industry. Reginald’s direct yet personable approach brought him success as a retail supervisor, insurance agent and hotel support agent With the early success, Regi still had a yearning to be in front of the classroom. At the age of 24, he decided to take a second job as a substitute teacher. The flexibility of the substitute teacher schedule allowed for Regi to accomplish two things. He continued to develop exceptional communication skills as well as inspire thousands of kids and young adults that he was fortunate enough to spend time with in class. In 2014 Reginald had the opportunity to work for the world’s largest OTA as a new hire trainer, where he trained hundreds of new hire agents. Although the position didn't become permanent due to company needs, Reginald’s talent and skills didn't go unnoticed. He was approached on numerous occasion by team leads to lead their weekly team huddles to share his expertise.Realizing that he had a true calling to as a trainer, in 2016 Reginald started Inside Out Training and Consulting. A Life Skills and Personal development company that focuses on employment and career planning. He has spent time gaining knowledge and experiences supporting guest and hotels. He has shared his concepts with hundreds of agents as a trainer. Now, Reginald feels it's time to share his knowledge with the hotels to create an effective and efficient partnership between the OTA’s and the accommodations.
