I have worked in the Public Sector across both health and social care for many years. I am an experienced professional social worker (specialising in specialist services) and the management of operational services within multi agency / disciplinary teams. I also have significant strategic experience working nationally, regionally and locally with a focus on system leadership for the improvement of outcomes for people and quality in the services that people receive. This has resulted in me providing the role of a critical friend, executive coach, applied review and consultancy assessments, support the development of systems and deliver talks and workshops to inform and support the embedding of outcomes and person /community focused practice at an individual, organisational and system level.More recently I have extended my knowledge and relationship with community focused wellbeing not for profit businesses, offering my support with the aim to enable responsive and compassionate support for people when they need it as early as possible and reduce the gap between the public sector and the wider network of organisations that support wellbeing within communities. I have a thorough understanding of the duties of social care and the NHS in particular in meeting the duties for people often disadvantaged and experience inequalities and as such support CCGs and Local Authorities in strategically improve and transform their services, in addition to volunteering my time to Community Interest Companies in developing their strategic priorities in order to inspire Social and Ecological justice. I value my professional background its ethics and retain these as the foundations of all my practices as I have continued to evolve over my 20 years + of service.I have been at the forefront of innovation and improvement of practice including the development new models and practice within health and social care.I look forward to working with systems, organisations and communities to develop share priorities, deliver the required outcomes whilst developing an increasing awareness of our collective wider social and ecological responsibilities.I place value in my personal wellbeing and my contribution to living in a respectful and compassionate society that cares for our environment and those living within it. I recognise that this also informs positive foundations in the delivery of emotionally intelligent person centred practice and leadership in delivery of sustainable quality services and successful outcomes.
