He is the founder of Statesboro’s 2022 Small Business of the Year, Rolling Monkey, handcrafted ice cream. Dubbed the "Inspiration Station", his business has been recognized with over 70 awards ranging from Best Place to Work to Best Locally Owned Business. Rolling Monkey has developed 7 internship programs yielding over 30 accreditations within the fields of Industrial Organizational Psychology, Multimedia & Film Production, Marketing, Information Technology, Finance & Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering, and Human Resources.In addition to developing his own value streams, Garrett served as the Community Catalyst at Georgia Southern University’s Business Innovation Group laying the foundation for the current incubator and accelerator programs. He currently resides as a Board Member for the Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce where he spearheads initiatives to tackle the largest issue businesses face today; Workforce Development.His latest venture, Inspired Solutions Consulting, is dedicated to unlocking the potential of businesses’ most valuable asset: their culture.
