After a four-month "sabbatical" I'm back working with the great team at Creation Technologies. Previously our test team as part of the Creation Design Services business unit of Creation Technologies. We are in the process of transitioning to a Center of Excellence for Test Development Engineering supporting our global manufacturing facilities. We are currently looking for a number of experienced Test Engineers to supplement and grow our team. • Supported a variety of programs as a design, sustaining, and systems engineer for electronic systems.• Designed and directed the conversion of a mechanism life test from a manual to fully automated (LabVIEW™-based) system in three months resulting in a cost savings in excess of $100,000 (1995 dollars). Took project from concept to test completion. • Served on a three person task force that recommended performance improvements in the areas of program management, technical management, and systems engineering which were implemented in a $100M division (1990 dollars) which served as the basis for BATC’s current program management system.• Responsible for design of the processor board for the solid-state star tracker for the Space Shuttle.Performance review comments:• “Ron can be counted on to ‘get the job done’.”• “Ron, along with his associates, adapted very well to a totally new task and met my expectations for getting a tough job. … a difficult and tedious task.
