Provides interpreting services for the deaf and hard of hearing students in K-12 and college. Follows the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment guidelines of professional conduct for Educational Interpreters. Participates as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team at meetings and conferences. Provides insight and recommendations regarding communication in the development and review of progress on the IEP, including evaluations of student use of an interpreter. Provides interpreting for conferences, telephone calls, assemblies, concerts, ceremonies, field trips or parent meetings when necessary.

Managing and building a platform for Interpreters and translators to use in order to connect them to more clients and customers. Posting job openings, market research, event planning and networking, scheduling interpreters on job assignments and supervising the back office.

I started my first interpreting agency in 2008. My responsibilities were providing and scheduling sign language interpreters to various schools and academic settings. Manage the back office as well as travel to job sites and assist with the interpreting as part of a team. Writing contracts and biding on contracts with major corporations and companies.
