InstaView was born, a "totally hands-free" virtual tour where the user had to do ‘nothing’ was invented. Received Patent Pending for the invention.InstaView utilizes images and its metadata, residing on any remote server, and instantly creates a full-featured virtual tour, while automatically putting a link to the virtual tour in the remote server. InstaView stays in constant sync with the remote server’s database. If an image or any of the metadata changes, InstaView will instantly render the new content.InstaView is totally customizable and can easily be utilized within any image driven marketplace. Created the web learning platform and co-created the ePRO course content, then traveled the US and Canada for 7 years proceeding to introduce hundreds of thousands of REALTORS on how to the use of technology in the real estate business. The ePRO course focused on how agents can brand themselves on the World Wide Web through the use of Domain Names for both the WWW and their email addresses. ePRO became the fasting growing Certification in the National Association of REALTOR's history.

In this position, worked directly with RISMedia owners, John Featherston and Darryl MacPherson, to establish the path and hire the team to take RISMedia (the leading real estate magazine) from offline to online.

In 1985, not liking the direction music industry was taking, left the entertainment industry, bought golf clubs and moved to Scottsdale, AZ., and opened The Barnett Agency, a full service real estate brokerage.While studying for the real estate license (and playing a lot of golf), was first introduced to the term “buyer brokerage”. Embracing the idea of ‘exclusive agency’ and became the first ‘buyer broker’ in Arizona. Using technology tools acquired in the entertainment business, consulted with ARMLS regarding the initial integration of technology into their MLS.Found a niche and created the Luxury Home Division in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Pinnacle Peak. Became a multi-million dollar producer in less than 12 months.Hired by a real estate client to be the Managing Director of a Master Plan community of 1,250 homes, called The Bensch Ranch in Mayor, AZ. Responsible for taking the Master Plan community from conception to final approval of the Prescott Zoning Board. The Master plan was approved for 1,250 homes and commercial space.Using experience learned with technology and the Internet in the entertainment industry, wrote the first technology courses for the Arizona State GRI program. Taught GRI at all the Arizona Associations of REALTORS. During this process, joined the Real Estate Educator's Association and within 2 years became President for an unprecedented 2-year term.

Partnered with leading real estate Title Company to deliver technology training to real estate agents. Designed and outfitted a custom computer lab with adjoining 150 seat lecture hall with the latest in audio video equipment, a first of it’s kind in AZ. Information Management Institute became a top reseller for Top Producer and PREP agent productivity software.

Launch Barnett Technology Group which introduced software to the real estate industry.
