INSTINCTIVE HORSE TRAINING...... My world is based around healing the minds and emotions of extremely damaged horses. I travel, and consult, all over the UK to help horse owners at home, to better understand their horses behaviour. After full Behavioural, Functional and Environmental assessments are done, I implement a way forward in fully supported future training.My yard is dedicated to rehabilitating so called "problem horses" from all over the UK, alongside giving young horses a fantastic start to their active working lives. I have been re -training ex-racehorses, both for myself personally and for their owners, for over 32 years now and have given them all a chance to attain a normal, well-adjusted,happy and fulfilling life outside of racing. One or 2 have gone on to compete at a high level in national competition. I have always bred, trained and produced my own young horses as well as producing all sorts of horses for clients. My area of expertise in this section has been to breed and produce quality competition stock for show jumping, eventing and dressage.I have competed nationally in all these fields with many notable successes.I have retrained many very damaged horses to go on to greatness..eg Park Preview..won Burghley CCI in 2001.He started as a bullet case ex-race horse and took me 3 years of patience!!!I travel all over the UK to owners who are having difficulties with their horses at home providing behavioural, functional and environmental analysis re the unwanted behaviours and set a training plan in place. I continue to support my clients thereafter. This is alongside the yard at Skidby, East Yorkshire UK where all in house training happens.Specialties: Complete knowledge and experience of the equine mind and how to use up to date science and positive reinforcement to re train their way of thinking into dramatic changes in behaviour alongside giving them the ability to let go of their fears.I have an amazing job!
