”Continuing education is key to keeping up with fashion as it evolves.”In 2003, I decided to make a career change from PR to start at the Toni & Guy Academy in Dallas, TX. I was drawn to the excitement of the talent and passion of my educators there and attended every advanced education offered. In 2005, I became a licensed instructor and her career began to launch.After my time with TIGI and independent work, I was invited to join the Aveda Institute and moved back into my role as an educator, not only teaching, but helped onboard new staff, wrote education materials and syllabus schedules. Ron and I partnered in 2018 when I became Director of Education at his salon. My role at Ron King is specific to teaching. I am not just a stylist that helps out when she can; but is solely committed to the training of new talent and continuing education with the staff as well as a support system to helping our team in achieving goals in their careers with: salary, leveling up, and getting them the classes they need to feel that they are getting the most out of their careers.
