Since then, I have been buying new properties almost every year and truly believe that real estate investing is the path to wealth and financial freedom. In 2023, I founded Expedition Capital and have grown the company to $15MM+ of multifamily assets under management in 3 states. I’m commonly asked what I would recommend to new investors or busy professionals that would like to move away from Wall Street and begin investing in real estate. My answer is always the same, and an emphatic one, “start passively investing in multifamily real estate”. Passive investing in real estate allows individuals to diversify their portfolios with much less risk involved.
