C.I.T.I. is the sub-board of study association Industria for international activities in the Industrial Engineering and Management field (IEM for short). It was founded in 1996 as a subsidiary of Industria with the goal to give students the opportunity to get in contact with the international aspects of IEM. The aims of our association are to get in touch with other foreign cultures and to learn more about the world in which we live, to make new friends and to have a great time along the way! As one of the Local Groups of ESTIEM, members have been travelling around Europe for over ten years now. ESTIEM is short for European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management. ESTIEM has 75 member associations (called Local Groups) spread across 23 countries and is the only European-wide organization for students of Industrial Engineering and Management. ESTIEM represents 50.000 students from all over Europe. It was founded in 1990 with the goal to build up and strengthen the relationships between students. Multinational project teams are organizing European activities such as exchanges, case competitions, lectures and workshops. This makes ESTIEM a unique network that connects people with different cultural backgrounds and experiences. The unique ESTIEM spirit stands for overcoming borders, being open-minded and combining work and fun!
