SF Startup career began with a small NLP team working on chatbots called Neuromedia - far too early for AI. Worked for Kleiner startup BigVine. We partnered with AMEX, LVMH, others, and created high brand awareness Win A Dream Office promotion. Worked with top firm Siegel+Gale on brand. Consulted for many startups including Gear6, Skytree, and Greenplum, acquired by EMC. Consulted for Japanese startups and corporates, on everything from branding for Monozukuri Ventures, event strategy for Mui, and for ENY, a Panasonic product. 1st Head of Marketing role was at Sauce Labs, where results included a digital ad lead gen program, a help forum that created massive traffic with SEO, and the first-ever Selenium conference. Catalog Spree, launched a catalog app, selling the platform to high end retailers and the retail experience to consumers, earning an appearance on the Ellen show, a Time Magazine article and a sustainability story on Mashable. At Revolve Robotics, ramp up lead generation and PR, resulting in broad awareness in telehealth and distance learning industry segments. Event strategy, online advertising, PR were the primary tools. At Chooch, as discussed above, took the company from from pre-seed to established technology brand culminating with the Infinite Vision Summit.A CompScience, launched awareness campaign and made the WSJ, Fox News, and was named #1 Insurtech startup at ITC Vegas.At Emtrain, marketing efforts recently generated the most leads per quarter in the 20 year history of the company.
