Hi! I'm Intifa and I want to make this world a better place through design solutions and addressing the needs of human beings. Originally wanting to be a social worker, I reckoned I would take this path to help people as well with problem solving and rigorous research. Empathy is what drives me and is the core of my design process as I believe people are what that makes products and experiences. Coming from Bangladesh, a very different world from Canada with its own set of sociocultural norms, and having to look after my aging parents, in particular my father who has Parkinson's, I was shaped by experiences from a really young age that have set me apart from my peers. In many ways it has set me back but have also taught me the tough realities of life, which drives me more to pursue and help the ones in need.I’m currently enrolled in the Honours Bachelor of Interaction Design program at Sheridan College (2020-2024) and looking for summer internships for 2023.
