During my internship at Arco Interiors, I worked in both the technical department and on-site, gaining a well-rounded experience. In the technical department, I was hands-on with creating detailed floor plans, working with design software like 3D Max, and helping to develop presentations for client approvals. I also worked closely with the senior designers on material selections and specifications, ensuring that every element aligned with the overall design concept.On-site, I got to see how the designs were brought to life. I coordinated with contractors, oversaw the installation processes, and ensured that everything was executed according to the plans. Being able to troubleshoot issues on-site and adjust designs when necessary was a valuable learning experience. It really helped me understand how practical applications sometimes differ from what's on paper. Balancing both the technical and on-site work gave me a comprehensive view of the interior design process.
