I'm a seasoned Linux nerd, with 10+ years with personal use, and 5+ years of professional use. I have mainly used Debian based distros for all my Linux adventures, distro hopping until finally landing on Pop!_OS, and as for servers, I have favoured Debian for many years, but am growing fond of Rocky Linux. I have to mention that this makes me severely allergic to most Microsoft products and tools, and I simply cannot get myself to work with anything from that company; nothing personal, it just feels like my brain twists and turns when working with it.As for programming and scripting, this has been primarily in Java, PHP, BASH, and a bit of C/C++. What I hope to learn in the future is more C/C++, Rust, and Kotlin, but unfortunately time, at the moment, is not on my side. Other than the mentioned languages, I can also speak HTML, CSS, (backend vanilla node.js) JS, and SQL (primarily of the MySQL/MariaDB sort).On a more personal note, I'm half Faroese, half Greenlandic (I don't speak kalaallisut), and have been living in Denmark for over ten years. I was born in 1995 in Greenland, and raised in the Faroe Islands. I have been through various educations trying to find out where I fit, and ultimately ended where I started, and I finished my education as a data technician specialised in programming in January 2023. I'm married with no children, and live in the region of Southern Jutland.
