Created the Model Integration team to fill high-priority cross-disciplinary gaps in modeling, simulation, and data-driven decision-making. Team products and activities included:- Improved interface for business-side decision-makers to run plant performance simulations and visualize results for technoeconomic trades- Wind and environmental data analysis.

Developed and and ran performance simulations for determining power plant specifications for customer proposals. Used high-dimensional parameter sweeps to select plant configurations based on technoeconomic trades. Worked closely with customer-facing business team to get new capabilities developed in simulation code and to use simulations for project.

Acted as systems lead in a fast-paced environment developing novel spacecraft architectures, developing concepts from the “napkin-sketch” stage to CAD assemblies representing all major spacecraft components. Interfaced with subject-matter experts for all major subsystems (e.g. thermal, power, telecom, mission/ConOps, propulsion), managing rapid iteration.

Used radiation-hydrodynamics simulations to investigate the effects of xenon doping in National Ignition Facility inertial confinement fusion experiments.
