Ioannis Chiotis (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the electronics and telecommunications degree from the Hellenic Air Force Academy back in 2015. He holds a master's degree in radioelectrology and electronics from the Department of Physics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree. His research interests lie in the areas of wireless communications, with a special focus on Cell-Free Massive MIMO systems, signal processing for communications and convex optimization. Ioannis Chiotis is also a highly motivated and experienced avionics engineer skilled in the radar, radio communication, data processing and electronic countermeasure systems of Mirage 2000-5 aircraft.
