- Responsible with quality assurance for different features by executing functional/system testing of Avaya/Nortel L2/L3 products(main features:STP/RSTP/MSTP, IGMP, LLDP, MLT, VLAN, VLACP, SMLT, RIP, OSPF, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM);- Execute test cases under traffic flow in system environments, in order to simulate a real life scenario, with traffic generators(SmartBit, Spirent Test Center, IXIA);- Responsible for test plans design based on HLD/FS and structured strategies for regression testing based on feedback received form Beta Sites and customers;- Use software tools during entire test phase for project status update (HP Quality Center) and bug tracking (IBM Rational ClearQuest and Jira);- Involved in all phases of the testing cycle (i.e. requirements analysis, test case identification, automated results, debugging, execution, defect tracking, reporting of results);- Work with development team when issues are hard to be reproduced and test private builds in order to be sure that fixes don’t interact with other software blocks.
