External Affairs Expert with 10+ years in international development and expertise in strategic/operational/risk communication and government affairs. Hands-on experience in working with Governments across multiple sectors (e.g., urban development, governance, disaster risk management, social protection, innovation, EU funds and operational programmes) as part of technical and financial support programs. Broad experience in building partnerships with multiple stakeholders, as well as in working with the European Commission and IFIs on tasks focusing on building capacity in public institutions and gaining support to advance development goals. Apart from my work, I am interested in harnessing the economic benefits of disruptive technologies in order to build more resilient and prosperous societies. In this sense, I co-founded Bucharest.ai, the first AI community in Romania where I am currently acting as MarCom Lead. Bucharest.AI is known for facilitating meetups, and technical workshops for the AI community in Romania since 2017. It has also brought #BeAI onto the market, the first AI pre-accelerator in Romania and one of the first in the CEE region. The 2020 and 2021 editions benefited more than 100 startups in 10+ countries.
