Ioannis Bouris studied Chemistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). (1989-1996) and after his military service he worked at Pharmaserve-Lilly SA. (Pharmaceutical Company) as a scientific partner for medical information (medical visitor) into doctors of hospitals and private practices both in the Attica area of Athens and in the Thessaloniki area (1997-2002) with the aim of promoting and selling antibiotics (oral or injectable) and antidepressants. Then he was employed at the Amyntaio Municipal Development Company (Amigis Municipal Company) as Director (2002-2011). He was responsible for all departments of the business; he prepared and managed development programs for the Municipality of Amyntaio. After he was working as instructor in a private secondary school and he teached lessons of chemist and physics (2012-2014). Then he worked as chemist in the Environment Department of the Directorate of Technical Services-Environment-Urban Planning and Local Economic Development (2014-2016). He dealt with the control and management of files of interested citizens for the creation and development of irrigation wells in the wider area of the Municipality of Amyntaio and their promotion to the Directorate of Environment of the Region of Western Macedonia. He was also involved in the measurements-analysis of chlorine content in drinking water.Alongside his work, he has attended a number of (15) workshops and participated in (5) conferences with a variety of topics. He has also participated as an instructor in training programs organized by Municipal, Public and Private Vocational Training Centers (K.E.K.).In the continuation he worked as chemist in, at the R.G.C.C. Research Genetic Cancer Center S.A. Papasotiriou Ioannis Monoprosopi S.A. in the Pharmaceutical Technology department for the design and development of generic pharmacoforms (2017-2022). Then he took up a job at the private vocational training institute IIEK Volteros in Kozani as an instructor - chemist, to teach courses to first, second, third and fourth semester students in the pharmacy assistant specialty.
