Yanni officially started his career at the age of 18 as a Telemarketing & Sales Agent for First Data Hellas. After working there for 6 months, he continued with various marketing promotion and sales activities D2D, B2B, B2C & online. At the same time, he would pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration, at Athens University of Economics and Business, which he completed at the age of 22.During his studies he would participate in several projects concerning business development and marketing strategy activities for several companies like Spin Communications and Grant Thornton Greece. At the age of 25 he further enhanced his career skills, by following some online courses in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, allowed him to design commercial websites and e-shops, as well as web applications. He would later land a job as Developer Programmer & E-Commerce Specialist at Mathios Refractories SA.A few days after his 28th birthday, Yanni took the leap outside his comfort zone and visited Australia to pursue advanced studies around the Information Technology science. He got a diploma from Danford College on Information Technology and Networking and now he is finalising his Master of Business Information Systems at Torrens University.In Australia, Yanni continued his career as Developer Programmer for Image Direct and Emote Digital. His duties involve developing websites and applications on WordPress, Shopify and Squarespace and connecting them with API integrations which he designs on Laravel framework. Additional duties are utilising cloud computing architectures, providing solution architecture for Emote's clients, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.Overall, Yanni pursues a career as a CIT Solution Architect, and is proud of a 360-degree arsenal of skills in Sales, Marketing, and Information Technology. The combination of his knowledge on those fields have allowed him to develop commercial IT solutions with empathy driven and client-oriented design in mind. So far, Yanni has developed IT solutions for great brands like Mathios Refractories SA, Baumarket Greece, Suzuki Motorcycles Australia, Mental Health First Aid, Mooroolbark Wool, The Protein Republic and more.Yanni has also participated in social volunteering projects between the years 2012-2014 and has been a member of MENSA, the High IQ Society, since the age of 22. He speaks fluent Greek, English and has recently started learning Korean. In his spare time, he polishes his resume details while referring to him on the third person.
