Coordinated the deployment activities for a Lean manufacturing and Quality improvement program introduced in plants in Asia (i.e. China, Indonesia, India). Additionally, provided engineering expertise, at group level, for process development and optimization for the cooling circuit manufacturing process.Key Results:• Trained the plants'​ Lean Leaders and personnel over the Lean program modules.• Coached Lean Leaders in developing and executing the Lean program deployment plans.• Developed a pilot production cell by applying 5S’s techniques, introducing operators quality control inspection and verification (Indonesia).• Guided the plants' quality managers in implementing new and upgrading existing Quality Management system procedures. • Standardized the quality control inspection points for 9 key production areas.• Defined the process requirements for CO2 refrigerant introduction into production operations and upgraded the leak detection testing process capability for R134a and R290 units.• Reduced the manufacturing cost of brazing operations and aligned them with the EU RoHS directive, by introducing suitable silver brazing materials with 15% reduced silver content; specified brazing materials for high pressure (CO2) applications.• Co-wrote the company’s technical guide for best manufacturing practices in cooling circuit production.

Provided engineering and project management support for major capital expenditure projects.Key Results:• Supervised the development and installation of a logistical bar-code system for materials traceability and control for the China plant.• Trained the China plant team on the bar-code system usage and provided post implementation technical support.• Developed a similar bar-code system with GS1-128 codification capability for the Indonesia plant.• Selected and procured machinery worth of €210,000 for the silk screen printing peripheral operations for the Chinese plant and produced the process layout drawings.• Developed a model that identified an 8% (€68,000) cost reduction opportunity in the Bill of Materials on product lines transferred from India to Turkey.
