The highlight of my career includes my commitment to children, my expertise in differentiating instructions, and my communication and leadership skills. I have had the opportunity to teach diverse groups of students. I have taught Early intervention and CPSE students who presented with various learning disabilities, speech impairments, physical challenges, and non-compliant behaviors. These experiences have helped shaped me into a well rounded and compassionate professional who understands the student's needs and develop an implemented individualized education program for each special education student. My experience has also ampled me to identify and implement goals tailored to each individual's needs. In addition, I have been able to coordinate with parents, teachers, classroom paraprofessionals and various service providers to support the student's educational outcomes. I have experience in conducting The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS-R) as well as Verbal Behavior Milestone Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) -Which are assessments, curriculum guide, and skills tracking system for children with autism or other developmental disabilities. I routinely conduct small group instruction as well as individualized instructions supporting and promoting problem solving assignments. I employ postive interaction with students and parents to develop a rapport. Gain respect, and trust to ensure a productive learning environment. I facilitate diverse techniques to promote active student learning, develop classroom systems that improve student's productivity and creating an inviting, nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe and want to learn. I am proficient in Conducting Discrete Trial teaching, developing individualized curriculum and most importantly, have vast knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior and the principals it entails.
