Flutterwave helps a business owner to pay and get paid using a simple set of APIs.My Responsibility is to manage the company's innovation process by developing and implementing new product ideas that will positively impact the company's growth and manage the technology team and internal and external stakeholders.Achievements:- I was an early employee of Flutterwave. We grew the company from 0 to more than 2 billion dollars in transactions processed.- Design and development of Rave payment gateway. The Rave product grew from 0 to more than 45 million dollars in transactions processed in one year and saw a transaction growth of 55% month on month.- Design and development of the Moneywave disbursement platform. The Moneywave product has now grown to disburse more than 2.8 million dollars monthly.- I implemented innovative processes to increase the success rate of transactions. - We conducted a user focus group that helped us discover our merchants and customers' pain points when using our Rave product. The feedback helps us in building and planning the roadmap for Rave V2.

PayWithCapture is a mobile payment app that enables individuals to pay for goods and services by scanning a generated QR-Code using the mobile device’s camera or the NFC and Beacon feature, which automatically senses the in-store Beacons. The app can be accessed offline and linked to payment instruments such as cards (Master/Visa), bank accounts and mobile wallets. Bank account holders and non-account holders can use the app.

One Credit is a fast-growing consumer finance startup providing short-term loans between 40,000 Naira and 1,000,000 Naira to salary earners.Achievements:- Before I joined One Credit, the business needed an excellent online presence. Their website needed to be functional, as users could not apply for loans through the website. I helped revamp the website, which increased the speed of applying for a loan as users can Calculate their loan online and then apply for it. This process reduced the loan processing time for users who choose to apply for a loan online by 30%, as there was no need to wait for the arrival of the user's document before loan processing started. It also reduced the cost of processing a loan as there is no need for dispatch to go and get a client's form.- I developed a mobile app which One Credit customers can use to manage their loans. This mobile app reduced the workload on our customer service unit as vital information the customers need about their loan status is available on the mobile device. This mobile app also reduced the cost of running the call centre and our NPL (Non-PerformingLoans) rate, as customers now get reminders before and when their loan repayment is due.- I developed an address verification app which verifies the address of customers using our mobile app. With this technology, we stopped visiting customers for address verification. We can ascertain the customer's home and Office address from the data from the user's mobile app through the address verification app. This app reduced the business's cost as our dispatch rider can focus on other tasks.- I developed an automated settlement system, which we use for uploading repayments of our offline customers. The transactions from this channel amount to more than 10,000 transactions per month. This app reduced the processing time of loans as our loan processing unit can work on something other than this tedious task again.
