This internship involved conducting a scoping review on already existing literature on incivility within the legal profession. During this process the literature gathered was critically evaluated and further critiqued to identify gaps for future research. This internship enhanced my skills of communication, critical thinking, problem solving, data analysis, and teamwork.
Through the use of GE Aerospace Human Resource Virtual Internship Programme I was able to gain insight into tasks done in HR Leadership Programme. Through tasks such as constructive feedback, coach a leader on compensation and benefits, and learning about Lean and practice Lean principles to improves processes. This experience allowed me to understand more about HR and GE Aerospace and how to create an impact through strategic leadership, organisational design, people analytics, team management, career coaching and leadership development.
Assisted with ensuring clients appointments were organised and managed properly, greeting clients when the entered the shop. Assisted in ensuring all stock was arranged neatly and in presentable fashion.
Befriended and looked after young carers, assisted in coordinating events that looked to raise money for young carers and the organisation. It was a rewarding experience and was an eyeopening insight into the lives of young carers within my local area.
