I am a software engineer and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in software development, project management, and strategic leadership. As the Founder and CEO of Twelve IT since 2012, I lead a dedicated team delivering custom software solutions from concept to production. My responsibilities include strategic leadership, team management, financial oversight, client acquisition, and negotiations. Through a commitment to excellence, I have fostered strong client relationships and driven the company’s growth and success.Academically, I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University College Cork (UCC), Ireland, where my research focused on “Resilient and Secure LPWAN Deployments.” In 2023, I was awarded a research fellowship at the University of Cambridge, furthering my work in the Computer Laboratory. Additionally, in 2019 I was awarded a scholarship in New Venture Leadership at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).My professional journey includes serving as Project Director for the LIFE SAFE-CROSSING initiative at Fundatia Carpati—a €12 million project aimed at reducing the impact of roads on priority species across four European countries. I managed a team responsible for the deployment of AVC Prevention Systems to mitigate wildlife road kills in Romania.From 2019 to 2022, I served as an IT Expert at Transilvania University of Brasov, monitoring the conservation status of species and habitats in Romania under Article 17 of the Habitats Directive. Prior to that, I was an iOS Developer at IBM from 2015 to 2018, developing mobile applications for life insurance companies such as Allianz and Gothaer.I graduated first in my class with a Master’s degree in Applied Informatics (taught in German) from Transilvania University of Brasov, where I also completed my Bachelor’s degree. Additionally, I participated in an Erasmus Scholarship at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences in Germany, specializing in Software Engineering.My journey blends rigorous academic research with practical application, driven by a passion for solving complex challenges and pushing technological boundaries.
