* My first gaming job at Logicware in 1996 gave my years of Dungeons and Dragons, Atari and Colecovision a purpose. I worked 6 days a week, but I still cherish those first experiences of putting together 3D scenes at breakneck speed to meet a milestone that was due in 10 minutes, that I had just found out about 10 minutes before...regularly trying to put round pegs in square holes with a bunch of talented guys was amazing...we actually got good at making those round pegs fit.* Working at Reflexive after that really changed my life. The roller coaster ride that I started riding on in 1997 was one of the most amazing things to happen to me ever. I worked on Star Trek and Dungeons & Dragon's stuff, as well as totally fresh IP. We went from big triple AAA product to smaller, casual products and I couldn't have been happier with the ability to jump from one idea and game mechanic to another in short periods of time. Running a business was also an amazing learning experience. * My partners and I sold Reflexive to Amazon in 2008. We were able to stay fairly autonomous and do some interesting things and work on some crazy secret projects. In January of 2015 we were officially merged with another internal game studio, Double Helix. Over the years, the rest of my partners slowly left until I was the last one standing. The silver lining? I won "the bet" of who would last the longest and got to take the Reflexive sign when we turned the lights out* In January of 2016, I was making it work at Amazon as a producer, but jumped at the chance to do audio for my job again. Making sounds, directing voice overs and music is incredibly fun and I still get to work early and leave late because I enjoy what I'm doing so much.* Working on games is my passion. Luckily, my wife is in the game industry as well, so my personal life doesn't have to suffer. :)Specialties: Sound Effect Creation, Level Design, Game Design, Project Management, Voice Over Recording, Musical Direction
