Emergent Ventures '20, '21, '22 & '24. EV is a fellowship and grant program from the Mercatus Center, seeks to support entrepreneurs with highly scalable, “zero to one” ideas for meaningfully improving society.

Founded this hybrid development lab to explore unconventional ideas in the realms of AI, space, and biology using multidisciplinary approaches. Recent projects include 00AI, an AI development platform for space systems, and the Singh, O. and Singh, R. Method, an image processing technique for deep-sea nematode morphometry. Presently supported by the generous EV Grant from Mercatus Center.

Visiting Researcher at the Deep Sea Ecology & OMICS Lab under Dr. Ravail Singh, Senior Scientist. Developed an automated, image-based morphometry methodology for deep-sea nematode specimens collected during the MANGAN (SO 205) 2010 German RV Sonne expedition in the Clarion-Clipperton Zones (CCZ) at 11-14° N and 116-120° W. Co-authored a paper with Dr. Singh as the first author; currently under peer review.

Founded a LEO targeted SmallSat company dedicated to the development of modular solutions for micro class (<220lbs) spacecrafts. Raised more than $25k in bootstrapped funding. Technologies currently valued at more than $280,000. Developed 5+ commercial products. Developer of InQube — India's First Open-Source Satellite. ISRO's Space Tutor Educational Partner. Showcased at 4+ National Conferences. Spoke at the National e-Governance Conference ‘2022. Awards: The Kashmir Expo Award by Government of J&K, Innovative Startup Award by the CSIR, GoI.

Guest Project Facilitator and Coordinator for IIT Jammu's Satellite Development Program. Mentored Undergraduate and Postgraduate Student Team. Conceptualized Spacecraft Payload's Design Review and Requirements. Engineered 0.5U and 2U FlatSat Prototype. Drafted Preliminary Research and Funding Proposal (PDR) for submission to Prof. Rakesh Singhai at the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Appointed as ECE Research Intern at I2EDC Laboratory under Prof. Ankit Dubey (Head of Discipline, Department of Electrical Engineering). Designed a 32-bit Unix based OS for Cortex-A72 processor board. Simulated the Y2K38 Epochalypse problem. Created Software Modulation and Demodulation Scripts (Narrow and Wide FMs) for PlutoSDR. Demodulated ADS-B aircraft transmission and real-time tracking using RTL-SDR.

Initiated and developed 'Know Ur Right' anonymous case reporting and legal awareness platform: An initiative bridging the gap between a social abuse victim and a volunteer lawyer. Helps with legal remedies, gratis! Impacted five people, registered social abuse cases). Reg. Attorneys: Adv. Nonu Khera and Balpreet Kaur.

Developed a social web-based self-risk assessment, contact tracing and tele-medicine tool for users in Jammu and Kashmir during the coronavirus pandemic. The risk assessment was based on a logic provided by Apollo Hospital. The servers were deployed on a 2G environment. Web UI was made responsive for users with limited 2G internet access. Tool Impacts: 5132 people. Unique Visitors: 139041. Calculated Impacts: 30124. Saved 5 lives through oxygen, plasma and blood coordinations during the fatal second wave of Coronavirus in India. Received $1.5k Emergent Ventures Award.

Qualified and Participated in the Jet Aero's Internship Program for UG/PG Students on UAVs and Nano-Satellites: Selected as a Special Case. Engaged in Microcontrollers, Sensor Integration, UAVs high RPM Motors, Computer Simulation and Structure's CAD modeling.
